What's in My Makeup Bag...

Ever wondered what the inside of my makeup bag looks like? Well, here goes! This is my makeup bag with all of my go to products. I wear basically the exact same makeup every day. Most of these products are things I've been using for years mixed in with a few newbies. FullSizeRender-1 makeup bag 2

Step 1. (One/Two/Three/Four/Five)

Step 2. (Six/Seven/Eight)

Step 3. (Nine/Ten/Eleven/Twelve/Thirteen/Fourteen)

Step 4. (Fifteen/Sixteen/Seventeen/Eighteen)

Step 1. Skin I ALWAYS start with a moisturizer. CeraVe is my favorite. It's noncomedigenic which is just a fancy way of saying I use it because I have acne prone skin and try to lower my chances of a breakout every chance I get. I'm also in love with my primer Pore Fessional by Benefit. It reduces the look of pores and really smoothes out skin before applying any other kind of face makeup. My two favorite concealers are the L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur and Maybelline Instant Age Rewind. Both are super creamy and provide great coverage. Step 2. Face I personally don't use foundation. Like I said earlier, I have acne prone skin. I think that foundation extra blocks my pores which means more breakouts and the need for more makeup. It's a vicious cycle (for me at least). A few years ago I discovered BB cream and have been hooked ever since. My skin has cleared up tremendously which doesn't mean I don't need anything, but I don't need a full coverage foundation. My current favorite BB cream is Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector. If you don't own a Beauty Blender yet, you need one IMMEDIATELY! It is the best makeup tool I've ever used. You just sloppily apply your BB cream/foundation all over your face and using a dampened beauty blender dab the product into your skin. It leaves you with a flawless even finish. You can thank me later. I've been using the Smashbox Matte Bronzer in Sunkissed and Tarte blush in Dollface for years. Step 3. Eyes I'm pretty simple when it comes to eyes. I curl my lashes, then use either the L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in black/brown or use a dark eyeshadow as eyeliner. I follow that up with either Benefit They're Real Mascara or L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. Step 4. Lips I'm also simple with my lips. 9 times out of 10 I only wear Nivea Kiss of Smoothness balm or Revlon Super Lustrous Gloss in Super Natural. I realized how boring I was so I decided recently to try venturing out. A couple of the products I've tried are Too Faced Melted in Jelly Donut and Revlon Colorburst Balm in Flirtatious. Phew, that was a longer explanation of everything that I was expecting it to be. Hopefully it was informative. Thanks for stopping by! Xoxo, Sarah
