What to Wear to a Fall Wedding

what to wear to a fall wedding With fall weddings getting more and more popular, I wanted to tackle the huge question of what to wear! It's not hot outside anymore, but if you're planning on hitting the dance floor, you need to wear something that won't make you sweat to death. One of the best ways to have the best of both worlds is to wear a fall color palette with a jacket that will keep you warm. Below are three looks I put together to conquer what to wear to a fall wedding. what to wear to a fall wedding

DRESS | JACKET | HEELS | CLUTCH | EARRINGS

This first look is my favorite as far as coloring goes. This midi dress is the cutest; I love how the lining stops so you can see through the sheer lace layer at the bottom. I paired it with floral textured drop earrings. I love playing with different textures in the same outfit. These strappy heels won't take away from the dress so they're perfect. Plus, they have a chunky heel which means they'll be much more comfortable for dancing in. This clutch is the most gorgeous shade of champagne and the pleats add another layer of texture. Lastly, I paired it with a drapey jacket in case it's chilly out. what to wear to a fall wedding

DRESS | JACKET | HEELS | CLUTCH | EARRINGS

The next look is so glam. The metallic accessories look so chic all together. I'm obsessed with this beaded clutch and the earrings are seriously stunning. I also love the strappy metallic sandals. They make a statement, but not enough to distract from the rest of the outfit. This dress is an awesome option for fall -- the green is a great color and the ruffle sleeves are very on trend. Plus, since it's longer sleeved, it'll keep you warmer. I topped the look off with this faux fur jacket that is equal parts cozy and chic.what to wear to a fall wedding

DRESS | JACKET | HEELS | CLUTCH | EARRINGS

This last look is super feminine. The asymmetrical hem on this dress adds a bit of interest and the heels are close-toed which will also add a bit of warmth for fall. I love these beaded tassel earrings, they're so chic and pretty. I always love blush so this jacket is no exception. -- plus it has ruffle detailing. Lastly, this envelope clutch is SO cute. One tip when choosing items to wear to a wedding is to pick out stuff you'll wear in your everyday life as well. For example, I own the studded strappy heels and I've styled them with boyfriend jeans for a casual date night look (you can see that post here) I hope these outfits give you some inspiration for any of the fall weddings you have on your calendar this season!
