White is one of those colors that I love to wear all year. It's so crisp and fresh for spring, it's light for the hot summer months, it's bright for fall when the temps cool off, and it's cozy and dressy in the winter and the holidays. I can easily find a reason to wear white for any and all occasions.
This white top is lightweight and flowy which makes it awesome for this time of the year, but it'll also be great for layering in a couple of months. Plus, who doesn't love a little extra ruffle on their sleeves?!
I also am equally obsessed with cognac accessories. They work for all seasons and really help transition the pieces in your closet for the next season. Right now, I'm loving these
cognac booties. I can wear them with dresses, skinnies, or shorts and they're always cute. They'll fit right in when I pair them with chunky sweaters in the winter too.
Totes are perfect bags for summer because you're able to throw in your essentials and take them out for the day to the beach, pool, on an adventure, etc. For lake days, I always have my tote packed with my beach towel, sunscreen, a change of clothes, and water bottle. Totes can be a universal piece for any season. A tote bag can be one of the best fall accessories to carry your scarf or extra layers as it gets warmer or cooler throughout the day. Transitioning the pieces that are already in your wardrobe for another season is a great way to stop spending on items you don't need and helps you get more use out of the pieces that you've already invested in. I've had
this one for over a year and still love it. It's so classic and affordable so I don't have to worry about ruining it if I'm out and about. They also just added a few new fall colors!
