This sunny Michigan weather has me craving a tropical vacay sooooo badly. For many of you, spring break trips are right around the corner so today I wanted to share some spring break essentials that you need to pack for your upcoming warm-weather vacay!

One thing I always like to do before going on a trip is painting my nails. This color was my go-to color for spring and summer last year, and I already know it will be again this year! It's the perfect shade of peachy pink.

When you're packing for a trip, there are a few items you need to make sure you have with you. Jean shorts go with tons of different types of tops so I like to bring a pair that are equal parts comfortable and cute. These ones have been restocked from last season and I wore them SO much last summer.

Off-the-shoulder tops are very on trend right now, and for good reason. They are perfect to pair with your jean shorts plus you can dress them up with skinnies for nights out while you're on your trip. Finding pieces that work for multiple outfits is key when packing.

Speaking of pieces that work for multiple look, these wedges are the most comfortable things ever. I've worn them a few times, but can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear them outside. There are a couple other styles that are equally as adorable like these ones. They're as comfy as flats and go with everything from jean shorts to sundresses.

I'm a huge fan of packing rompers for vacations too. They're so easy to throw on and go to the beach. They also work for night time with wedges.

Once you have your clothing picked out, it's time to figure out which accessories to bring along. Try to choose items that you can mix and match. These earrings and bracelet stack are a couple of my faves. You, of course, need a great pair of sunglasses too! Bringing a hat to wear to the beach is also a great way to block out unwanted sun exposure on your face.

I've created a packing list for you so you don't forget anything that you need. You can print it out and even add items at the bottom that might be specific to your trip.

Whether you're going somewhere this spring or not, there are some really cute new items out right now. I know I'll be picking up a few more things for spring too!

What's your must-have item for tropical vacations? Let me know in the comments!

xoxo,

Sarah
